Twilight Movie

Twilight movie is one of the latest movies which have its theme based on the book that was written by Stephanie Meyer who is also featured in the same movie. It was actually released in the Philippines way back in November of 2009 and it stars such movie stars as Robert Pattison as Edward and Kristen steward who is featured as Bella. Since its production it has been doing quite well as its casting is cool enough that one can easily derive the theme and meaning of the movie.

Different from the Edward(main vampire character) presented in the book who appears to be confident, perfect and cool at all the times, Edward in the movie is quite anxious and appears uncomfortable at all times. But as the movie continues, he seems to be moved closer to Bella simply because of her behavior through the film. Based on the fact that Edward is handsome, this gives him the advantage of moving even closer to meeting the woman he has always been dreaming of.

Despite the point that Edward is a vampire, this did not actually stop Bella from falling in love with him, something that most people will be intrigued with when watching the movie. In a normal situation, you will realize that once an individual come to learn about the evil deeds practiced by the person you love, their relationship will come to an abrupt end, but the producer of this film/ tackles this differently. Bella still dreams of Edward every night despite having learned about his impureness and so many other evil deeds.

The producer of the twilight movie also uses the music throughout the movie very well. The provision of lullaby songs for Bella is absolutely amazing as it adds to the uniqueness in the film production from other common movie making. The producer of this great movie uses two very important aspect of styles; suspense and romance which eventually bring out the quality production which makes one great movie that you will never want to miss. Therefore in case you really want to enhance all that you have been reading in the twilight book, then you should actually watch this great movie produced by a renowned producer from the Philippine movie style. Watching the Twilight movie will always make you want to watch more from this great producer as it pushes you to the edge of your seat. New Moon(Twilight 2) has also released and promises to continue where this original film leaves off.

You Can't Go Wrong With Snakes On A Plane

If you are hankering for a powerful movie punch, you can't go wrong with Snakes on a Plane, starring none other than Samuel L. Jackson himself. The movie has a powerful plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire movie. Not only that, but it also has such a beautifully written plot that even the harshest critic will be move by it's beauty. And did I mention that it's got snakes?

Our tale starts off with an innocent victim who has seen something he probably should have been better off ignoring. But what he has seen, he cannot forget. And those that saw him see what he saw, want to kill him, to prevent him from relating to the authorities what he did, in fact, see. So begins our harrowing tale.

He meets up with the supreme good guy, played by Samuel L. Jackson. He is introduced to us with those timeless words of authority, safety, and completely command of the situation: "Come with me if you want to live." The hero quickly brings the innocent along with him to bear witness against those that have done wrong. How they have decided to kill him will be revealed in the next shocking moments of this movie.

As they are on the plane, they see something so incredibly terrible yet so inexplicable that it take a few deaths for what is happening to finally sink in. There are snakes on the plane. These aren't your normal everyday snakes you see on the way to the supermarket, these are the most vicious, ready to kill snakes you've ever had nightmares about.

As good fortune would have it, our hero leaps into action and begins his battle against the airborne reptiles. See, he's tired of these snakes on this plane, although that's not exactly how it was worded in the actual film. Rumor has it that line was put in there strictly to please the Snakes on a Plane Internet fans, but I digress.

Two of the victims of the snakes are the pilot and the co-pilot. Who will fly this seemingly doomed plane? Well, luckily there is a passenger who has happened to have logged several hours on a video game flight simulator. He hops in, rises to the occasion, and lands the plane safely. The witness is safely transported to the trial where he testifies against the bad guys, and everything works out fine. The snakes are dead, the bad guys are in jail, and Samuel L. Jackson once again shows us who's boss.

Star Wars - The Heroes Journey

For those three or four among you reading this that haven't seen what is likely the greatest movie ever made, allow me to introduce you to a tale that combines modern age technology with ancient mythology. In a tale that snaps you out of reality from the first opening credits, which are now famous around the world, Star Wars - A New Hope set the bar to heights that have not been reached since.

Borrowing heavily from a mythological archetype known commonly as the "heroes journey," George Lucas expertly took this ancient myth and effectively transplanted it onto the modern movie screen. The hero, Luke Skywalker is the epitome of every hero in every story that has ever been told. Sometimes called the "reluctant hero," this character is called, almost against his will, to go on a journey that will forever change his life.

Our story starts out with a fierce battle between imperial troops and a small, under armed group of rebels. The evil forces of the Empire quickly overtake the rebels, but not before they send out a distress signal, to an old Jedi Knight, an order long thought extinct.

The message lands on a seemingly deserted planet, inhabited only by farmers, bandits and mercenaries. The message is picked by young Luke, who has no idea what he is getting himself into. He thinks he knows the old man that the message is intended for. When Luke meets this strange old man, he learns about something called "The Force," which is some mysterious energy which permeates everything. He also learns that here is a good side to the Force, and a bad side.

They must leave the planet at once, as the Empire, led by the Evil Darth Vader, who is a powerful practitioner of the bad side of the force, has learned the whereabouts of the droid, the small robot who contains the hidden message. And thus begins the classic heroes journey, as Luke and Ben set off to gather their forces together, and fight the evil empire.

They soon learn, en route to meet up with the rebels headquarters, that the Empire has constructed a "Death Star," a very large space station capable of destroying entire planets. The Empire will use this powerful tool to keep rebel planets in line. Together with his new found skills in the good side of the Force, and with his new friends, Luke Skywalker must destroy the Death Star, before it's too late. The DVD, which is a classic mythological story told to captivate a modern audience, should be in every DVD library.

28 Days Later - Wonderful Zombie Movie

One of the best ways to spend an otherwise boring afternoon is to watch a thrilling and disgusting zombie movie. There is something about zombie movies which brings out our desire to watch others eat human flesh. Set in the not too distant future, this fantastic zombie movie has what everybody wants, with a couple of great surprises.

Our tale starts out with a quick overview of what has happened to the world. A few scientists were experimenting with a new kind of drug which had a couple of nasty side effects, one of which evoking pure rage. It also turned them into flesh eating zombies. They, being not so smart scientists, thought they had the disease under control. Everything was going smoothly until some people decided to break into the laboratory and released the primates. That was, of course, the beginning of the end.

After that brief prelude, the real movie begins. We find out hero waking up in a hospital, only there are no nurses, doctors, or other patients. He manages to detach all of the wires and tubes, and makes his way outside, only to find the streets just as deserted as his hospital. He notices a church, and decides to enter. He notices some strange hand writing on the wall, which predicts impending global doom.

He is startled by a noise and is horribly shocked to find the church is filled with flesh eating zombies who have taken refuge from the sun. It would seem that these zombies can only come out at night, when they hunt humans to eat. But these zombies aren't like your run of the mill movie zombies that amble aimlessly in search of food. These zombies are quick on their feet, and can track you down quicker that you'd think.

There is also another troubling thing about these zombies. Unlike zombies of other films, that were infected by some celestial happenstance, the disease which dooms these zombies was created in a laboratory. All it takes is a splash of zombie blood on your skin, and it's only a matter of minutes before you crave a tasty bit of human flesh.

Of course, the only way to kill a zombie is to shoot it in the head. What makes this particular strain of zombie difficult is there is a bit of lag time between getting splashed with zombie blood, and the effects kicking in. However, they do kick in, which makes it difficult for somebody to kill you if you look completely normal. As our zombie movie goes on, the hero meets up with and joins forces with normal non-zombie humans. They have to find other people, and battle zombies at every step of the way. Based on the particular ending you choose, you'll either be happy or horrified. That's another great thing about this movie.

The Usual Suspects - A Shocking Tale Of Adventure

There are plenty of movies out there involving crime, criminals, criminal masterminds, and complicated plots that twist every which way before they finally reveal who the bad guy is. In perhaps the most critically acclaimed movie in this genre, "The Usual Suspects" stands head and shoulders above the rest, and is what all other crime movies are compared to. This is an absolute must see movie if you enjoy crime dramas that keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last.

The movie starts out with police rounding up some potential crime suspects for a small time, seemingly inconsequential crime. These small time crooks meet up for the first time in a holding cell, while they are awaiting a police lineup. One of these in the holding cell passes on a job offer from his "boss" to pull of some seemingly easy and small time crime.

When they are released without issue after the lineup, the get together to attempt to pull off this seemingly innocent crime. As they dig deeper and deeper into the nature of their business, they find that there is a criminal mastermind behind the whole thing. A mastermind of crime so soulless and ruthless that any who even glimpse who he is are immediately and ruthlessly killed.

They are told some story or legend about what he did in the old country, when a rival criminal paid him a visit. In a show of force, this rival crime lord threatened to execute his family before his eyes, in hopes of keeping him in line. This deadly killer turned out to be far too much to handle for the local crime lord. He executed his own family himself, before killing all but one of those sent to kill him. Naturally this horrible act established his reputation as the most ruthless criminal ever.

As the members of this small group get closer to closer to the real identify of the evil mastermind, the police get closer and closer to the whole setup. In a shocking race against time, the group must evade capture from the police, and must work together to avoid angering he who has hired them for the job.

But both the group, and the police are completely clueless as to the actual identify of the criminal mastermind behind all this. The shocking secret is revealed, and it is such a pleasant revelation, from a script and acting standpoint, that you will want to watch this movie again and again to see how the clues were cleverly placed along the way, down to the correct tone of voice in certain scenes. You should see this movie at the first chance you get. If you have, you should see it again. And again.
